The award recognizes intranets that are highly creative, collaborative and connected. In this category, Ragan was looking for intranets that set the tone for the organization, empower and engage employees and influence the organization’s culture. The employee experience that Rightpoint created for Grant Thornton, Canvas, definitely fits this bill. By giving employees highly personalized experiences, the digital workplace empowers employees to engage more efficiently in the workplace.
The collaboration began with an in-depth vision for the user experience to define the core capabilities. As a result of the upfront strategy work, its rich personalization features, impressive search functionality and its mobile integration abilities set it apart. Change management was another critical element to ensuring success in organizational adoption of the Canvas initiative. Grant Thornton and Rightpoint partnered together on development of the change management strategy and execution.
By partnering with Rightpoint, Grant Thornton was able to create a powerful new digital workspace that transformed how its primarily remote staff work and collaborate internally. Integrating Canvas on mobile, with no VPN required for entry, allows all of Grant Thornton’s primarily remote workforce to connect with one another across the country. Overall, this project resulted in 99% increase in employee engagement with the workspace, with employees at all levels praising its convenience and efficiency.
At Rightpoint, we loved collaborating with Grant Thornton on this project and are so excited to see our combined effort on their employee experience recognized. This recognition is a testament to how the future of employee experiences need to be personalized and efficient to best serve a company’s employees and we are proud to be recognized with Grant Thornton as one of the best.
